La Brushstroke House nasce dall’idea di fondere insieme la tradizione architettonica lettone e il design contemporaneo, con l’intento di generare una forma che si modella con dinamismo verso il panorama e il lago.
Il concept iniziale riprende la forma originaria lineare dei due corpi di fabbrica, che in pianta sorgono parallelamente l’uno con l’altro.
Questi corpi vengono mutati e piegati così da donare ai lati corti del blocco architettonico, una vista privilegiata verso il panorama e il lago.

I DUE VOLUMI:
Il complesso si compone quindi di due corpi di fabbrica:
– Il corpo che ospita il painters’ worshop e il carpentry workshop, composto da un solo piano, e sorge più vicino al lago
– il corpo che ospita le due residenze composto da due piani, che sorge parallelamente dietro al corpo più basso.

LA PIANTA ARCHITETTONICA:
La pianta architettonica è stata ideata per posizionare gli spazi maggiormente vissuti dagli artisti, in adiacenza con il panorama, alimentando in tali spazi una forte componente visiva naturalistica.
Infatti secondo la nostra visione un artista non produce opere solo dentro al suo painters’ workshop, ma è più probabile che l’ispirazione venga negli attimi vissuti in casa, contemplando il panorama e la natura.
Per questo motivo le zone living delle due residenze, e il painters’ workshop hanno una vista totalmente vetrata e più possibile aperta verso il panorama.

IL TETTO PENNELLATO (BRUSHED ROOF)
Per mettere in atto questa idea progettuale un ruolo fondamentale lo fanno i tetti che sono stati ideati con un andamento non costante.
La non linearità della copertura tende ad abbassarsi nel corpo più basso, per donare la vista completa agli affacci finestrati del piano primo delle residenze, e alzarsi in concomitanza delle zone living completamente vetrate.
La non linearità della copertura è fondamentale anche per l’apporto luminoso del giardino, così da ridurre le zone d’ombra e renderlo più possibile utilizzabile, riscaldato dalla luce solare.

Il tetto diventa il simbolo progettuale e rappresenta una pennellata fresca di contemporaneità che si fonde con la tradizione, con i materiali e con lo spirito lettone.

THE GREEN and THE LIGHT
Un altro ruolo fondamentale lo giocano i numerosi ambienti esterni della casa.
Sono stati studiati differenti livelli di giardino.
Il Garden Terrace (a servizio solo del Flat ONE) è un giardino pensile che appare sopra la Carpentry Workshop e si genera dalla variazione del tetto del primo blocco, che si abbassa fino ad appiattirsi e creare il giardino terrazzato.
Il Inner Garden (a servizio di tutto il complesso), è il giardino più protetto dai venti e vanta un discreto apporto solare grazie all’abbassamento dei tetti.
Il Main Garden dell’ingresso, è il giardino più ampio e ha una buona esposizione solare considerando che è a sud. Presenta un riparo dai venti che vengono dal lago ed è delineato dai vialetti che conducono agli ingressi delle residenze e dell’area comune.
I Lake Gardens che si estendono dai lati corti dei corpi di fabbrica e indirizzano verso l’acqua e il lago, creando al loro termine delle piccole banchine per l’attracco di piccole imbarcazioni.
Al di sotto della Flat ONE che è un blocco sospeso da pilastri di legno, viene adibita una zona per ospitare i pipistrelli orfani del vecchio edificio.

Oltre alla luce diurna, nei vari giardini vengono studiati anche dei dispositivi per l’illuminazione artificiale notturna, che cerca di essere il più possibile discreta e deve solo sottolineare le aree verdi progettate, così da renderle fruibili anche in notturna.

To receive product support, you have to have one or more Envato/ThemeRex purchase codes on our website. These purchase codes will be stored together with support expiration dates and your user data. This is required for us to provide you with downloads, product support, and other customer services.

Support Data

If you have registered on our website and have a valid support account, you can submit support tickets for assistance. Support form submissions are sent to our third party Ticksy ticketing system. Only the data you explicitly provided is sent, and you are asked for consent, each time you want to create a new support ticket. Comments

When you leave comments on the website we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

For the purpose of validating and getting your purchase information regarding licenses for our theme, we send your provided tokens and purchase keys to Envato Pty Ltd and use the response from their API to register your validated support data. Ticksy provides the support ticketing platform we use to handle support requests. The data they receive is limited to the data you explicitly provide and consent to being set when you create a support ticket. 7. How Long We Retain Your Data For
When you submit a support ticket or a comment, its metadata is retained until (if) you tell us to remove it. We use this data so that we can recognize you and approve your comments automatically instead of holding them for moderation. If you register on our website, we also store the personal information you provide in your user profile. You can see, edit, or delete your personal information at any time (except changing your username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
8. Security Measures
We use the SSL/HTTPS protocol throughout our site. This encrypts our user communications with the servers so that personally identifiable information is not captured/hijacked by third parties without authorization. In case of a data breach, system administrators will immediately take all needed steps to ensure system integrity, will contact affected users and will attempt to reset passwords if needed.

If you have a registered account on this website or have left comments, you can request an exported file of the personal data we retain, including any additional data you have provided to us.
